Welcome back to the ArtsHERE Grantee Portal

South Arts received notification on Friday, May 2, 2025, that the NEA’s cooperative agreement with South Arts to support the ArtsHERE initiative was terminated, effective May 31, 2025. Due to the termination of the cooperative agreement, all ArtsHERE grant awards are also terminated effective May 31, 2025. As we navigate the uncertainties of this moment, we want to share our deep appreciation for your work and dedication to our arts communities.

Next Steps:

South Arts requests that all ArtsHERE grant recipients give a brief project update along with a financial report of how much funds have been (or will be) spent through May 31, 2025. Within this same report, grantees can also:

  1. Make a payment request. As an ArtsHERE grant recipient of South Arts, your organization can request additional payment and/or reimbursement for costs incurred under this grant from October 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025. We understand that organizations received 50% of funds up front; therefore, this will not apply to many grant recipients. Reimbursements will be processed by South Arts through September 28, 2025. You may request funds now for expenses you anticipate through the end of May, or you may request reimbursement for expenses your organization has already paid (not using ArtsHERE funds).

  2. Make a budget change request. Grant recipients may request changes to their project budget for changes that make up more than 10% across any budget category.

Please log in by clicking Log In at the top right corner to access and complete the Payment Request & Report form by June 30, 2025. If you need to make an update and/or correction to the form after you have submitted it, please contact artshere@southarts.org to request access to your submitted form.

For questions about completing this request, please contact your RAO representative or Aiyana Straughn, Director of Arts Partnerships by email (artshere@southarts.org) or phone (404.874.7244 x840).
